The economic environment in which domestic industrial enterprises operate underscores the need to develop tools for adapting their financial and management systems to the dynamic market fluctuations characterized by significant challenges and threats. Particularly acute are the issues of finding effective means to respond to changes in the volume and structure of demand, disruptions in raw material supply chains, fluctuations in logistics and energy prices, the loss of qualified personnel due to migration or mobilization, and a decrease in customer solvency, which is especially important during economic crises. The research aims to formulate the theoretical and methodological foundations of an adaptive management mechanism for industrial enterprises to ensure the effective transformation of external and internal threats into competitive advantages. Under conditions of high instability, domestic enterprises must possess specific mechanisms for rapid response to changes in the dynamic market environment to adjust production programs, optimize costs, and ensure continuity of production, which objectifies the importance of forming an adaptive management mechanism for enterprises in times of crisis to create precise prerequisites for ensuring their economic resilience to market fluctuations. It is worth noting that the current crisis phenomena in the construction industry led to reduced production volumes, changes in structure, assortment, and nomenclature, and an increase in cost due to rising raw material and energy prices. The adaptive mechanism transforms existing threats into opportunities for manufacturing enterprises in the construction materials sector. The foundation of this approach is the dialectical method, which views development through the interaction and mutual negation of opposites. Specifically, risks and threats are natural development companions, and overcoming challenges becomes a source of progress. The use of the dialectical method in the context of substantiating vectors for the transformation of threats into opportunities is based on the principles of “unity and struggle of opposites,” “transition of quantitative changes into qualitative ones,” and “negation of negation,” which allows for the identification of potential growth points within crises.
