Rapid technological progress and the continuous expansion of digital information have fundamentally transformed the conditions under which modern enterprises operate. Under these circumstances, traditional management approaches are proving insufficient, while digitalization has become a strategic prerequisite for organizational competitiveness and sustainable development. Rather than being limited to the introduction of information technologies, digitalization requires the comprehensive integration of digital solutions into enterprise management and business processes. The objective of this study is to substantiate a conceptual approach to transforming enterprise management systems in the context of digitalization and to develop a comprehensive model that describes this transformation. The research is based on a combination of systems analysis, comparative analysis of management system evolution, synthesis of contemporary theoretical concepts, and a process-oriented approach to structuring the transformation. The study traces the evolution of management systems from traditional functional management to process-oriented, integrated, and adaptive approaches, culminating in a digitally integrated management system. It is argued that successful transformation should rely on a set of interconnected principles, including systemicity, digital integration, organizational adaptability, data-driven management, and continuous improvement. As a result of the research, a six-stage transformation framework has been developed, incorporating the diagnosis of the existing management system, the development of a digital transformation concept, the design of the target management model, the implementation of transformation measures, performance monitoring, and continuous optimization. In addition, the paper proposes an original conceptual model that demonstrates the relationships among external environmental factors, the transformation mechanism, and the formation of a digitally integrated management system. The findings indicate that digital transformation is a comprehensive organizational change that affects all components of the management system, rather than the isolated adoption of digital technologies. The proposed conceptual model may serve as a methodological basis for designing and implementing digital transformation initiatives across enterprises operating in different sectors of the economy. Further research should focus on developing methodological approaches to measuring the digital maturity of enterprise management systems and on validating the proposed model through empirical studies using quantitative analytical methods.
