The grain products subcomplex in Ukraine: modern state, actual problems and prospects of development

Abstract

The article studies the modern condition and the basic problems and development prospects of grain products subcomplex in Ukraine. Grain farming is a strategic agricultural sector, which defines in modern terms the level of development of the entire agricultural sector of the national economy. The major factors influencing efficiency of activity of economic entities. It is established that the strategically important is the technical and technological re-equipment of enterprises of grain products subcomplex in innovative-investment basis. In the further development of grain products subcomplex, considerable attention must be paid to the settlement of inter-industry relations between grain producers and processing enterprises and industries of logistics processes of production and processing. The grain market is the basis for the formation of supply of basic food products for the population of the state and their cost, as well as an important export commodity, an indispensable raw material for many industries. Defined the role of the state in ensuring the effective development of grain industry of Ukraine.
