Abstract

Under the conditions of global transformation of political and social institutions, the entire system of social relations, scientific and practical interest is increasing in the theory and practice of progressive socio-economic transformations. The progress theory is based solely by means of positive knowledge, denying any rights and any number of religious knowledge. Positive science is not able to reveal the future of humanity. Confidence that that all good and reasonable win in the end, has no basis in the mechanical worldview: because there reigns an absolute accident. The basic tenets of the progress theory are: the moral freedom of the human person as the condition for the autonomy of the moral life; the absolute value of the person and the ideal nature of the human soul, capable of infinite development and improvement; absolute mind, ruling world and history; the dominance of moral goals and good. All such provisions in the aggregate are included as an integral part of the philosophy of Christian theism, although, of course, do not exhaust all of its content. Thus, the main problem of the progress theory and at the same time the problems of philosophy and Christian theism can be solved only on its basis.
