The article examines the digital environment as a driver of business organizational model transformation. It is argued that digitalization should be understood not only as the introduction of technologies but as a change in the principles of coordination, control, communication, and value creation within the enterprise. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the mechanisms through which the digital environment influences changes in management structures, internal coordination, and decision-making tools. The paper combines theoretical generalization with empirical analysis of harmonized Eurostat data. The study shows that websites reflect the development of digital communication channels, integration of internal processes and ERP systems indicate stronger cross-functional coordination, CRM and BI systems signal a transition to data-based management, while artificial intelligence reflects the intellectualization of analytical and administrative functions. It is established that the transformation of organizational models is sequential: from basic digital presence to process integration, the dissemination of business software, and the gradual implementation of AI tools. At the same time, the spread of complex digital solutions is constrained by competency gaps, legal uncertainty, data protection risks, and technological incompatibility. It is substantiated that the digital environment is a factor in enterprises’ internal structural reconfiguration. The study results showed that the spread of complex digital solutions, primarily AI, is held back not only by financial constraints but also by skills shortages, legal uncertainty, data protection risks, and technological incompatibility. This means that effective digital transformation requires not only investments in technology but also the organizational readiness of enterprises to embrace structural changes.
