Abstract

The directions of state support for the agricultural sector of Ukraine are considered in the article. The features of the system of government support the agricultural sector and measures to improve the mechanism of state support for domestic agricultural enterprises. Established that a prerequisite for sustainable development of the agricultural sector and ensuring food security is state support for agricultural producers. Based conducted researches the scientific and methodological approach that allows to adjust the existing mechanism of subsidies in agriculture, introduce new subsidies to change and improve existing ones. Determined that it is appropriate transition from stimulating production costs to encourage the production of the final result.
