The article examines the strategic principles of innovative development of enterprises in the context of global economic transformation. The relevance of the topic stems from the intensification of digitalization, the growth of technological turbulence, the restructuring of global value chains, the greening of the economy, and the increasing role of innovation as a key factor in enterprises’ long-term competitiveness. The purpose of the study is to substantiate theoretical provisions and applied approaches to the formation of strategic principles for the innovative development of enterprises in modern conditions of global change. The work uses general scientific and special research methods, in particular the methods of theoretical generalization, system analysis, logical comparison, structural-functional approach, and scientific abstraction. The essence of an enterprise’s innovative development is clarified as a continuous, strategically managed process of creating, implementing, and commercializing new knowledge, technologies, products, processes, and business models, aimed at ensuring the business entity’s adaptability, sustainability, and competitiveness. The main external factors influencing enterprises’ strategic development are identified, including technological acceleration, digitalization, geopolitical instability, the green transition, personnel restrictions, and institutional changes. Key theoretical approaches to the formation of strategic principles for innovative development are summarized, including competitive, resource-based, adaptive, open, and ecosystem approaches. It is substantiated that the innovation strategy is the core of the modern model of enterprise development, as it ensures the coordination of resources, competencies, management decisions, and market opportunities. The key principles of strategic management of innovative development of enterprises are highlighted: strategic orientation, systematicity, adaptability, openness, continuity of innovative renewal, resource and competence provision and orientation on value creation. The practical significance of the results lies in their potential for developing innovative enterprise strategies under conditions of economic instability and post-crisis recovery.
