The article aims to advance the theoretical and methodological foundations for analyzing micro- and macroeconomic determinants of sustainable land resource management and to substantiate a mechanism for coordinating them. The research applies systemic, institutional, and ecological-economic approaches, complemented by analysis and synthesis, comparison, scientific generalization, and causal modeling. The study systematizes the determinants that shape land-use decisions at the microeconomic level, including land productivity, production costs, output prices, access to finance, tenure security, risk and time preferences, and managerial capacity. At the macroeconomic and institutional levels, the decisive factors include the cost of capital, inflation, public support, market infrastructure, land institutions, environmental regulation, information infrastructure, and the security environment. The results show that sustainable outcomes depend on consistent financial incentives, environmental requirements, monitoring, and risk management rather than on the intensity of a single policy instrument. Private financial efficiency is distinguished from broader social and economic feasibility, which is especially important for restoring agricultural land affected by military activities and explosive ordnance contamination. The scientific novelty consists in a conceptual model of sustainable land management performance and a cyclical mechanism linking individual decisions with macroeconomic, institutional, ecological, and security conditions. The practical significance lies in recommendations for differentiated public support, integrating demining with post-clearance soil assessment and land-use recovery planning, developing open information infrastructure, and using multicriteria methods to prioritize restoration measures. Further research should focus on empirical validation using farm-level data, discounted cash-flow analysis, monetization of ecosystem and security benefits, and spatial multicriteria modeling.

Keywords: sustainable development, land resource management, microeconomic determinants, macroeconomic determinants, economic mechanism, land restoration, ecosystem services, demining.
