The purpose of the article is to substantiate the role of intelligent transport systems (Intelligent Transport Systems, ITS) in ensuring the environmental, social, and managerial effectiveness of industrial enterprises, as well as to develop a conceptual model for integrating ITS into the overall strategy of sustainable development of the enterprise. It is substantiated that modern ITS are evolving into a comprehensive tool for ensuring the environmental, social, and managerial effectiveness of business. The author’s definition of ITS is proposed as a dynamic organizational and technological complex that combines information and communication technologies, telematics and analytical algorithms for coordinating transport and logistics processes in real time, which ensures synchronization of warehouse, production and sales processes and transforms intra-factory logistics into a flexible system capable of instantly responding to changes in production schedules, which increases its adaptability, minimizing unplanned downtime, optimizing routes and maximizing the efficiency of using enterprise resources. Based on an analysis of experience in the EU and the USA, world practice in ITS development is summarized. It is established that the European model is focused on decarbonization and climate neutrality, while the American one is focused on economic sustainability and the security of logistics systems. It is proven that the common drivers of both approaches are artificial intelligence, the industrial Internet of Things, digital twins, and predictive analytics. The specifics of the impact of ITS tools on the components of the ESG concept are determined. A conceptual model of ITS integration into the sustainable development strategy of an industrial enterprise has been developed, which illustrates the connection between digital technologies, logistics, and ESG results. An organizational and economic mechanism for implementing ITS has been proposed, based on the interaction of managerial, digital, and adaptive circuits. The practical significance of the results lies in creating a methodological basis for digital modernization of enterprise infrastructure in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. A promising direction for further exploration is the development of a system for integral assessment of the ESG efficiency of the use of ITS tools.
