The article examines the institutional and economic factors of the integration of Ukrainian enterprises into global innovation ecosystems in the context of the transformation of the world economy to an innovative development model. In the research process, a complex of general scientific and special methods of cognition was used. Theoretical generalization, analysis, and synthesis were used to systematize scientific approaches to interpreting global innovation ecosystems and to determine the institutional and economic factors shaping enterprise integration. The method of system analysis was used to study the structure and mechanisms of the global innovation system’s functioning, as well as the relationships among its key elements. It is substantiated that enterprises’ participation in global innovation networks is an important prerequisite for enhancing their competitiveness, technological capabilities, and sustainability in the context of globalization. Theoretical approaches to the formation of the global innovation system are analyzed, and its key structural elements and mechanisms of functioning are identified. Attention is paid to institutional factors of integration, particularly the quality of the regulatory environment, the effectiveness of intellectual property rights protection, the development of innovation infrastructure, and the consistency of state innovation policy with international standards. Economic factors are studied, including access to financial resources, investment attractiveness, the level of human capital development, and enterprises’ ability to implement research and development. The main problems in integrating Ukrainian enterprises into global innovation ecosystems are identified as institutional instability, limited innovation funding, low levels of interaction among science, business, and the state, and insufficient enterprise management and innovation capacity. Directions for overcoming the identified barriers are substantiated, which include improving the institutional environment, developing innovation infrastructure, expanding access to financing, and increasing the participation of Ukrainian enterprises in international innovation programs. The implementation of the proposed measures will contribute to strengthening the integration of national business into global innovation processes and increasing its competitiveness.
