The article provides a theoretical and methodological substantiation. It develops practical recommendations for the formation and optimization of the organizational structure of security management for enterprises of various legal forms of business. The evolution of scientific approaches to security studies is investigated, in particular, resource, protective, harmonization, and macro-dynamic approaches, which allowed positioning the security system as a multidimensional architecture. Three key levels of responsibility of management subjects are identified, and a matrix of function distribution and key performance indicators is formed according to basic security components: financial, personnel, cybersecurity, economic-legal, and physical security. It is proved that the legal form of business acts as a decisive institutional factor for designing the security architecture. The specifics and risks of security structures in joint-stock companies, limited liability companies, state-owned, and private enterprises are analyzed. A universal five-step algorithm for designing an organizational security structure is proposed, which covers risk audit, function decomposition, model selection, regulation of powers, and dynamic optimization. The scientific novelty of the study is enhanced by the development of a mathematical model for evaluating the effectiveness of the security structure, which minimizes the total costs of its maintenance and potential losses from the realization of threats under tight budget, time, and compliance constraints. Particular attention is paid to the transformation of security units under martial law and prolonged crisis. The necessity of decentralization of powers, strengthening of civil protection, transition to cloud technologies, and creation of situational crisis centers to ensure the resilience of domestic business is substantiated. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of forming comprehensive corporate security systems capable of minimizing economic, legal, and technical risks, as well as guaranteeing the stable functioning of business entities in conditions of critically high macroeconomic uncertainty and destructive challenges of the external environment.
