The achievement of the goals of developing agro-industrial enterprises can be ensured by their effective operations and a favorable business environment. Based on the generalization of indicators on the socio-economic assessment of the actual state of development of the EU countries and Ukraine, the dependence of the value expression of exports of goods and services on a number of other indicators that are directly or indirectly related to the transformation processes in the mechanisms of development of agro-industrial enterprises was considered. The need to transition from the raw-material orientation of the agro-industrial sector to a knowledge-oriented growth model was identified. The study confirmed the importance of a multifactorial approach to assessing the conditions for conducting agro-industrial business amid the spatial transformations of the post-war period. Positive factors include investments, intellectual resources, and gender inclusion, which together strengthen export potential. It is emphasized that the negative correlation of the value-added indicator indicates an excessive concentration of the agricultural sector in GDP without appropriate levels of technological or export modernization. The identified dependencies also underscore the importance of investments in intangible assets and human resources as long-term drivers of growth in modern conditions. At the same time, it is concluded that effective post-war recovery requires harmonization of institutional, economic, and social prerequisites in rural areas. The results of the study substantiate the need for a comprehensive strategic approach to managing the development of the agro-industrial complex, grounded in analytical tools and empirical assessments. Practical recommendations are identified to support and develop export agro-industrial businesses under prolonged military conflict.
