Economic basis for the formation of adaptive business models of enterprises under hybrid crisis conditions

The article substantiates that the contemporary crisis environment is characterized by the simultaneous influence of military, financial, investment, logistics, institutional, technological, and informational factors, the interaction of which generates new requirements for the economic resilience and adaptability of business models. Based on an evolutionary analysis of classical and contemporary scientific concepts, the study systematizes theoretical approaches to enterprise adaptability, business model development, dynamic capabilities, organizational resilience, and economic diagnostics. The concepts of hybrid crisis and polycrisis are clarified, and their interrelationship and specific manifestations in the construction development sector are identified. It is proposed to consider an adaptive business model as a dynamic economic system capable of ensuring an enterprise’s structural transformation in response to environmental changes through the reconfiguration of resources, business processes, financial flows, partnership relationships, and value creation mechanisms. A conceptual methodological platform for economic diagnostics and business model transformation has been developed, integrating information and analytical support, adaptability diagnostics, scenario modeling, managerial decision-making, and performance monitoring into a unified cyclical mechanism of economic management. An integrated indicator of the economic basis for forming an adaptive business model is proposed, combining financial resilience, operational performance, innovation and investment potential, digital readiness, economic resilience to hybrid crisis impacts, and business model adaptability. A formalized model for assessing adaptability has been developed based on interrelated resource, process, structural, organizational, and managerial components. The proposed approach establishes methodological prerequisites for the comprehensive economic diagnostics of enterprise preparedness to operate under hybrid crisis conditions and provides a scientific basis for managerial decision-making aimed at enhancing resilience, flexibility, and long-term competitiveness.
