The article explores the pivotal role of the digital environment in transforming brand marketing activities in the digital economy. It is substantiated that the active digitalization of economic and social processes has led to a fundamental shift in the tools and principles of brand-consumer interaction, turning the brand into a dynamic, interactive, and open system operating in a highly competitive and information-saturated environment. The research identifies that the digital environment is shaped by technological, social, institutional, and economic factors, including the development of digital infrastructure, advancements in artificial intelligence and Big Data technologies, shifts in consumer behavior, international digital integration, as well as challenges of cybersecurity, digital divide, and low digital literacy. The evolution of marketing models — from Internet marketing to e-marketing and digital marketing — is examined through the lens of synergetics theory and nonlinear dynamics. In this context, digital marketing emerges as a new level of brand self-organization, focused on interactivity, personalization, behavioral forecasting, and real-time processing of large datasets. It is demonstrated that effective brand functioning in the digital era requires the integration of innovative technologies, managerial flexibility, adaptability to rapid changes, and the fostering of dialogue and co-creation with consumers. The emphasis is on creating a unique digital experience that combines personalization, convenience, and emotional appeal to foster consumer loyalty and engagement. This approach facilitates the emergence of stable emotional connections and long-term relationships based on values and mutual trust, which strengthens the brand’s position in the competitive digital landscape. As a result, the brand achieves a stable online presence, enhances its reputational capital, and gains the ability to successfully position itself in both global and local markets, creating a foundation for sustainable development and adaptation to future changes.
