The article is devoted to the issues of sustainable development management for construction industry enterprises amid increasing global environmental challenges, the digital transformation of the economy, and the implementation of ESG standards. The relevance of the research topic is driven by the construction industry’s high resource intensity, its significant environmental impact, and the need to develop new approaches to ensuring the long-term economic, social, and environmental sustainability of enterprises. The aim of the study is to develop the theoretical and methodological foundations for sustainable development management in construction industry enterprises and to improve the conceptual foundations of management in the face of current external environmental challenges. The article examines the evolution of approaches to interpreting sustainable development, from the classical concept of the World Commission on Environment and Development to modern ESG-oriented enterprise management models. It is substantiated that the sustainable development of construction enterprises is shaped by organizational, technological, managerial, and institutional factors, among which corporate culture, strategic leadership, digital transformation, and the level of innovation implementation are key. The study proposes an authorial perspective on sustainable development management of construction industry enterprises as an integrated system of strategic, environmental, social, innovation, risk-oriented, and digital management aimed at ensuring long-term competitiveness and enterprise resilience. A conceptual model of sustainable development management for construction industry enterprises is substantiated, which, compared to existing approaches, is based on systemic, process, stakeholder, and ESG management, thereby ensuring the integration of the economic, environmental, and social components of development into a unified management system. The key management subsystems of the model (strategic management, environmental management, social management, innovation management, risk management, ESG management, digital management) and their implementation tools (BIM technologies, ESG audit, LEED, BREEAM, digital monitoring platforms, KPI systems) are defined. The practical value of the proposed model lies in its applicability to the development of modern sustainable development management systems for construction enterprises, the formulation of strategic directions, the improvement of energy efficiency, the implementation of ESG practices, and the advancement of the digital transformation of management processes.
