Introduction. Institutional transformations taking place in the national macroeconomic environment have caused changes in the development of integration processes in the structure of the agro-industrial complex. In recent years, the agro-industrial complex due to various forms of increasing the impact of integration processes on economic growth and prospects for its economic entities. The current state of the agro-industrial complex of the national economy and the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic limits socio-economic opportunities inertia of the processes of development of agro-industrial production in the national macroeconomic environment.

The aim of the article is to study the theoretical aspects of investment and innovation integration strategy for the development of the agro-industrial complex.

Materials and methods. The theoretical basis in the process of scientific research were the scientific works of famous Ukrainian and foreign scientists, Ukrainian legislation and regulations. During the research, general scientific and special methods were used: analysis, diagnostics, synthesis, induction, deduction – to study the theoretical aspects of investment and innovation integration strategy for the development of the agro-industrial complex; the method of generalization and specification of the tasks of the strategy of development of the agro-industrial complex was used.

Results. Theoretical aspects of investment and innovation integration strategy of agro-industrial complex development are investigated in the scientific.

Conclusions. According to the results of the study, it is proved that the investment-innovation integration strategy of agro-industrial complex development explains in detail how the investment-innovation integration processes of the agro-industrial complex will be managed to ensure its effective functioning and development in global challenges. Investment and innovation integration strategy of agro-industrial complex development allows to assess the export potential of agro-industrial products, to form export-import strategy and adequate mechanism of foreign economic activity taking into account the free trade zone with the European Union and other countries in the global space.
