Abstract 

The theoretical questions of formation of a strategic set of capabilities of enterprises to ensure economic security are researched. The use of hierarchy analysis method for the formation of a strategic set of capabilities of enterprises is presented. Formulation and solution of certain tasks were held on the basis of determining the maximum variety of common capabilities and defining of expert evaluation of interconnection and interinfluence  in a chosen IT environment. The graphs of connections between components of strategic set of enterprises capabilities, the binary matrix of correspondence of A to pattern of apex Z1 and the levels and models of hierarchy of strategic set of enterprises capabilities were presented to each group of enterprises (of automobile industry, agricultural machine-building and enterprises for the production of vehicles for rail transport).The strategic sets of capabilities of the enterprises of mechanical engineering for providing of economic safety on groups of the enterprises are calculated: for the enterprises of automobile industry, agricultural machine-building and enterprises for the production of vehicles for rail transport.
