Social responsibility of food industry enterprises as basis of modern economy innovative development

Abstract

The article substantiates the necessity of introduction of social responsibility of business, key aspects and directions of its realization. The basic problems and ways of social responsibility growth at the enterprises of the food industry are determined. Food industry is determined by the resource-intensive, which has a large amount of waste and is a source of negative environmental impact. The key indicators of the level of social responsibility of business are considered and their impact on environmental pollution is assessed. The expediency of taking into account the concept of social responsibility in the enterprises development strategy of the food industry and introduction of innovations as the main source of economic growth is substantiated.
