In today’s economic environment, dynamic changes and unpredictability have a significant impact on the activities of enterprises, especially in the field of international logistics. Logistics, which ensures the optimal movement of goods from producer to consumer, faces various challenges related to changes in the external environment, such as globalization, technological innovations, environmental and political changes, crises, etc. The large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, posed a particularly serious challenge to the logistics sector. This led to supply chain disruptions due to restrictions on transportation and delivery of goods and food. Businesses in Ukraine had to look for alternative supply routes, develop new inventory management strategies and implement flexible management approaches to reduce the impact of risks on their operations. Therefore, today the issue of developing risk management strategies is extremely important for the logistics departments of enterprises. The purpose of the article is to develop skills in analyzing, evaluating and modeling the risk system and managing them in decision-making in international logistics systems. To reduce the risk of overlapping routes and suppliers, the author considers the possibility of diversification and use of alternative suppliers and routes. Increasing the stock of raw materials and finished goods can help ensure the reliability of supply in a military conflict. Attention is also paid to communications and connectivity to ensure prompt communication with all links in the supply chain and respond to threats in a timely manner. Preparing staff for wartime operations, teaching them to work in extreme situations and ensuring their safety is also an important task. Cooperation with the authorities and military services to obtain information about the situation on the front line and to obtain permits for the movement of goods can be a crucial condition for success. The use of modern technologies to monitor and manage logistics processes also contributes to the effectiveness of risk management in war. In general, wartime conditions require logistics managers to be more flexible and efficient in managing risks to ensure the reliability of supply of goods and services in emergency circumstances. To summarize, we can draw certain conclusions that successful implementation of international logistics projects requires competent and systematic management of risks and threats at all stages of the project. When planning, executing and controlling logistics tasks, it is necessary to carefully analyze potential threats, assess their impact on the project and develop risk minimization strategies. An important element of risk management is the collection and analysis of information that allows you to quickly identify possible problems and take the necessary measures to prevent them. In addition, communication and cooperation between all project participants, including customers, suppliers and partners, are key to successful risk management. Particular attention should be paid to the development of contingency and crisis management plans to ensure stability and the continuation of the project even in the most difficult conditions. Ultimately, the successful implementation of international logistics routes depends on the ability to effectively manage risks and threats, while considering the specifics of the project and the context in which it is implemented.
