Abstract

The main problems of the use of nature protection territories and aspects of development on them to tourist-recreational activity are investigated in this article. A concept and categories of nature protection territories in obedience to international classification and basic executable by them function have been analyzed. The location of nature protection territories in the system of recreational nature is the use and direction of realization of recreational function is determined. It’s justified that priority direction of realization of tourist-recreational activity on nature protection territories is ecological tourism. The analysis of existent interpretations and determinations of ecological tourism has been carried out. The assessment of the current state of the functioning of ecological tourism in Ukraine and the perspective ways of its development are made.
