Artificial intelligence (AI) is attracting more and more of society’s attention in various spheres of activity. His is a set of information technologies combined into a complex system that, using information processing algorithms as well as scientific research methods, forms a model capable of performing complex tasks, obtaining, or independently creating information, knowledge bases, and decision-making models in the process of work, and determining the methodology and strategy for achieving specified goals. The advantages of AI over humans are indisputable. However, the question of all the possibilities of AI, problems associated with its introduction into the enterprise management system, and risks, which, in turn, can negatively affect the economic condition of countries and the world, remains under-researched. In this regard, it is essential to correctly assess both positive and negative aspects of AI implementation in innovation management. Artificial intelligence (AI) is an emerging technology that has been widely used in the field of innovation management. However, in the era of mass digitization, the appearance of AI contributes to “facilitation training” by unscrupulous methods. To effectively use the potential of AI in innovation management, companies must solve several technical, organizational, and ethical challenges. In addition, it is worth keeping in mind the challenges in implementing AI systems, which innovation management faces in connection with the technology itself, the people entrusted with its implementation, and the relationship between the technology and the person. This article suggests the five stages necessary for the most successful application of artificial intelligence in the company’s economic activity. The first stage involves defining clear goals for the application of artificial intelligence in the company’s activities that correspond to its mission; the second is the selection of technical support that best matches the company’s characteristics; the third is the selection of personnel with appropriate competencies and skills to work with artificial intelligence; at the fourth stage, the introduction of artificial intelligence into business activities takes place, it requires an understanding of the potential risks arising in the implementation process and the development of a plan of measures to prevent and eliminate potential adverse impacts; the fifth stage – monitoring the effectiveness of the introduction of artificial intelligence and the effectiveness of changes in the company’s business activities.

Keywords: artificial intelligence, management, enterprise, management, introduction of artificial intelligence.
