Analysis of the competitive position agricultural enterprises as a factor of increasing their efficiency

Abstract

In the current economic conditions  arises a new strategic concept of the enterprise management. This strategic concept is based on the positioning the places of the enterprise among its competitors as at present and defining place that the company wants to occupy in the future. The competitive position of agricultural enterprises  is a place that it occupies in each sector of its activity according to the results of its activities through the advantages and disadvantages compared to competitors.

The competitive position agricultural enterprises of Zhovkva district in Lviv region by major commodity segments of its activities is investigated in the article. In crop production it is a grain crops, vegetables and fruits, and in animal production it is a pork.

The strategic alternatives to improvement the competitive position agricultural enterprises of district have been proposed.
